Classes Will Help Attendees Better Prepare
for Retirement
RIDGEWOOD, NEW JERSEY (September 28, 2023) –Independent advisory firm Vision Retirement, headquartered in Ridgewood, New Jersey, has announced they will offer a variety of adult education courses this fall at Ridgewood and Emerson Community Schools. The collaboration will enable each school to provide greater depth in their retirement-centric classes for students and Vision Retirement to further pursue its mission of simplifying the retirement journey.

"And while education is just one component of how we help people simplify their retirement journey, these classes can make a difference in people's lives by potentially saving them time or money or giving them more confidence in their decision-making."
"We're excited to offer a new lineup of retirement-related classes in Ridgewood, including a ‘Retirement Boot Camp,’ which kicks off on October 26," adds Eliza Sudol, coordinator for Ridgewood Community School. More specifically, Vision Retirement will offer this three-class boot camp to focus on five key topics: investing, IRA strategies, tax planning, healthcare, and estate planning. An "Ask the Professionals" night is also scheduled for November 30, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of experts including a CFP® professional, estate attorney, CPA, and independent licensed Medicare agent.
Emerson Community School classes start on October 4 and run through December 6, covering various retirement-related topics. Courses include Managing Healthcare Expenses in Retirement, Estate Planning, Tax Planning Through Four Stages of Retirement, and IRA Planning and Strategies.
