Compare membership features
We offer three membership options to choose from.

If both you and your spouse purchase one combined VR Circle membership, you’ll pay a TOTAL of $895 (advice), $2,495 (planning), or $3,995 (VR 360) for the year.

You have the option of paying for your membership on a monthly or annual basis. No matter which option you choose, however, a payment is due upon initial engagement.

All clients enjoy our “100 for 100 Guarantee.” If you aren’t 100% satisfied with your membership at any time during the process, we'll refund 100% of your membership fees for the year.

Advice
Think of this “advice” component as a financial GPS to help you navigate the complexities of investing. Precisely, we’ll deliver tailored advice (we don’t invest your money for you) on how and where to invest your money to help you better reach your goals. Advice also goes beyond investments and covers financial decisions—big and small. For example, if you’re buying a home and have questions about which mortgage to choose, need help finding the best way to tackle debt, or are unsure about what to do with your 401(k) when changing jobs, you’ll have ongoing access to a financial advisor to help guide you through such situations.

We’ll meet once a year to assess if you’re on track to achieve each of your objectives—just like your annual physical, but far less stressful.

We’ll ensure you’re successfully managing various aspects of your financial life such as insurance, employee benefits, and estate planning activities.

We’ll build a plan for your investments so they align with your goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon.
VR Risk Score
We’ll remove any subjectivity when determining your risk tolerance by using the latest technology to pinpoint your own personal risk number.

This quick email survey will gauge how you’re feeling about both current markets and your financial future to help us take action, if needed.
Portfolio Review
Economic conditions and your own personal circumstances will inevitably evolve over time. We’ll review your investments on a periodic basis with this always top of mind, determining if changes are needed moving forward.

The planning component of our membership service is designed to help you gain insight into whether you are on track for retirement. If not, actionable steps will be provided to get you back on track and stay there.

We’ll touch base twice a year to assess if you’re on track to achieve each of your objectives.
Cash Flow Planning
With cash flow planning, you can track where your money goes and where it will help fund your life goals, regardless of your life stage.
VR Connect
Our cloud-based wealth management platform provides safe storage for your important documents (e.g., tax returns and insurance policies) as well as account aggregation features for a consolidated view of your finances.
Retirement Income Analysis
We’ll compare your current income and assets against your expected retirement costs and recommend appropriate actions.
Social Security review
We’ll assess the degree to which Social Security (vs. other sources of income) will meet your spending needs, determining the best time to claim so you can maximize SS benefits.
Income Tax Snapshot
We’ll analyze your most recent income tax return to identify potential tax-planning opportunities as they relate to your current situation. Some examples include tax-efficient investment recommendations, wealth-building strategies, and strategies to maximize your charitable giving.

With tax planning, we’ll review your income projections and develop a tax-efficient retirement withdrawal strategy. Projections also include analyzing your tax payment options (e.g., withholding vs estimated taxes).
Income Tax Preparation
Your personal income taxes will be prepared by a certified public accountant (CPA), through our sister company, Advisor Tax Prep, and you will review them with your financial advisor.
Our approach takes a more holistic view of your finances—aiming to pinpoint potential strategy suggestions or moves you can make within your investment and retirement accounts to reduce your overall tax burden and build your long-term wealth.

VR Circle membership is an advice-only service, meaning we only provide ongoing guidance and recommendations; feel free to complement your membership with one of our investing solutions if you’d like us to invest your money.

With our investment solutions, you’ll receive advice focused strictly on your investments (just as the name implies). Since planning for your retirement encompasses so much more than just investments, however, a VR Circle membership arms you with advice extending beyond this.

Yes, you can upgrade your membership at any time by paying the difference in cost between the membership options.
For example, if you currently have a planning membership (whether you are paying for it or receiving it at no cost) and you want to upgrade to VR 360, the cost would be $1,500 per year.
