If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

I love where I live now in Dobbs Ferry, NY, but if I had the opportunity to relocate, I’d choose San Diego. I was fortunate to have lived there for a year and have always said I’d go back if I could bring at least 10 of my friends and family with me. The city has everything you could ever want from sunny weather and clean beaches to picturesque parks, famous zoos, and great restaurants.

If you can have one meal, what would it consist of?

I’m such a foodie and love all things food, so this is a tough one. However, I will say the experience I had at Franklin’s BBQ in Austin, Texas was life-changing. I felt like I was at a tailgate party—people brought their own chairs and strangers mingled around the various picnic tables that were set up. The food was amazing too—I admit I still often dream about their mouth-watering beef brisket.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Taking road trips and spending time with family, including my two dogs Luna and Tank. I also enjoy everything river towns, such as Ithaca and Saratoga, have to offer. I recently attended a Pittsburgh Steelers playoff game with my husband and had an amazing time there.

Who is your biggest hero?

This one is hard, but let’s go with Julia Child. For those of you who don’t know, she was a famous culinary instructor, primarily of French cuisine. While I share her love of cooking, I admire her for disrupting a male-dominated industry and becoming the first woman to host her own cooking show on television. Julia even volunteered during World War II which was a rare occurrence then.

What would you do with your Mega Millions winnings?

My priority would be to ensure my family wouldn’t have to worry about money ever again. I’d also purchase a huge compound where I could start a dog rescue (I have two dogs: a Boxer and Staffordshire Bull Terrier). Lastly, I’d travel the world. Italy and Greece are still on my bucket list.

What are some of your most memorable moments?

There are several but getting married in Cancun was probably my most memorable. I’ve visited there often before tying the knot and just fell in love with the weather and beaches (as I’m writing this, I’m learning that I’m happiest when I’m near water). Having an intimate wedding made it even more special since we were able to spend quality time with each of our guests.
