When most people think of Bergen County, they think of the malls, quality of schools and traffic.
When we think of Bergen County, we think of Nicholas Choman.
It’s not because he frequents diners late at night, is a Sopranos fan, loves the Jersey Shore, backs his car into parking spots, or has a broad smile when he encounters a Real Housewife of New Jersey. It’s actually because Nicholas (we call him Nick) grew up in Bergen County, and it’s where he continues to reside with his wife, Lisa, and their three children, Matthew, Christie and Nicholas.
Nick relates well to clients because of his real-life experiences of raising a family and saving for goals like college tuition, retirement and “rainy days.” The result is a client-focused advisor who can share relevant experiences and better guide clients to make sound financial decisions.
Nick is also an active member of his local church and spends a considerable amount of time serving those less fortunate than himself. In his free time, you’ll often find Nick cheering passionately for the Villanova Wildcats football and basketball teams, working on his stroke on a driving range, teeing off at local golf courses or watching Rangers hockey. His ideal vacation is lying on the beach listening to the sound of the waves. He also enjoys landscaping and gardening around his home.
Nick earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Villanova University and has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. He’s an Accredited Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) and holds FINRA series 65 registration through Vision Retirement.
