Jason would love for you to join him for lunch.
Anywhere you'd like.
Provided it's Italian cuisine.
We often like to tease Jason by purposefully suggesting dining options we know he simply won’t agree to. Thai? Greek? Vietnamese? Every suggestion receives the same disappointing response. As a result, at least 94.6% of the time, we end up at an Italian eatery. And not just any Italian bistro or shop. His preference is to avoid trendy or modern establishments at all costs. You may be questioning why we continue to go to lunch with him. Admittedly, we’re still formulating a good response to that question.
While it’s true that Jason is super particular about what he eats, it’s also true that he’s a strong believer in building life-long relationships. His approach is simple: Focus on continually building trust and, over time, make sure you never lose that trust.
Jason likes to give back to the community by supporting various organizations and associations. He’s currently on the Board of Directors for the Fields Crossing Condo Association in Hoboken, NJ, and actively participates in the Financial Planning Association, Financial Services Institute, and the Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council.
When Jason isn’t at work or helping his community, he looks forward to spending time with his wife, Carrie, their two children, Jake and Judah, and their dog, Benny. When Jason has free time, you’ll likely find him cooking, entertaining, or just spending time outdoors.
Jason has over 18 years of experience in the financial industry. He’s an Accredited Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and holds a FINRA series 65 registration through Vision Retirement. Jason is also a three-time recipient* of the Five Star Award which recognizes quality service and is awarded to less than 3% of wealth managers in New Jersey.
* Award based on 10 objective criteria associated with providing quality services to clients such as credentials, experience and assets under management among other factors. Recipients do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Paul Muller has won this award 2012 through 2018 and Jason Ellis has won 2015 through 2017.
